HOST YOUR OWN MOONHACK EVENT

Help educate and inspire more kids to give coding a go, and have real impact.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO MOONHACK

Whether you are a returning Moonhacker, or new to Moonhack, we have developed some resources to help you know more about how to engage with the challenge. Select the best category below.

For Code Clubs

We’ve created a guide to support you to
submit a project for Moonhack. Each project has the chance to win a Moonhack prize! The submission button will go live on October 14.

We’ve also got the criteria sheet that will be used for judging.

HOW DO I BECOME A HOST?

Moonhackathons are for any household, library, school, or family that wants to organise a group to participate in Moonhack.

These are independently held events, not managed by Code Club. Don’t worry! We have some simple steps to get you to the moon and back.

Need some support to get set up? We’ve got posters, backgrounds, logos, and more available to download in this folder.  Can’t access google drive?  Download our Posters or Certificates.

This year we’ve also created unplugged activities to be part of your event.  We’ve created Colouring sheets, dot to dot, word search and an I Spy sheet.  We’ve also created a Bingo game card to play while your coders are busy coding!
